Flyers Disc golf is based at Mount Edgcumbe in Torpoint, Cornwall.

From the Plymouth / Devon side there are three options to get across the water that separates Plymouth and the south East of Cornwall.

Option 1

Cremyll Ferry, Plymouth (click here for map)

An early bird would be able to park at the free car park which is a stones throw from the slipway. The boat leaves at 1/4 to the hour and 1/4 past the hour. The 10 minute crossing cost of the ferry is £1.30 for adults and 65p for children (you pay for each crossing). Frequent users buy a voucher for £13 giving half price journeys. If the car park is full, the Royal William Yard is the closest car park (www.royalwilliamyardharbour.co.uk/ parking) and is around £5.00 for the day. Recently developed, it is host to many bustling restaurants and waterside bars and could be a nice venue for a stop off after your visit to Mount Edgcumbe.

Option 2

The Torpoint Ferry (click here for map)

Leaving from Devonport, the Torpoint car ferry leaves either every 15 minutes or half an hour depending on the time of day. The crossing takes 8 mins and costs £1.50 for a return journey. Frequent travellers credit a Tamar tag and crossings are half price. Landing in Torpoint, the drive to Mount Edgcumbe is well sign-posted and takes 15 minutes.

Option 3

Traveling by road from Plymouth or Cornwall

Access from Plymouth via the Tamar Bridge (A38) to Trerulefoot roundabout; then via A374 and B3247 (brown signs) to Millbrook and Mount Edgcumbe. Allow 50 minutes travelling time from Saltash (40 minutes at off peak times).

Access from Cornwall, head for Liskeard then follow the A38 to Trerulefoot roundabout, then A374 (Torpoint) and B3247 (brown signs) to Millbrook and Mount Edgcumbe. Allow 45 minutes travel time from Liskeard.
